Hello from Camp Director Judy.  We must work together to make camp possible for our kids this summer - June 20 - 26, 2021.  Testing, screening, mask wearing, cohorts, sanitation and social distancing will be the non-pharmaceutical interventions that we'll be using at camp. Please bear with me as we update our COVID policies and protocols to reflect the most up to date guidelines from the CDC, the American Camp Association and our local host Nebraska 4-H.

If you have questions about what a day will look like at camp - let's talk.  Our office number is 402-474-2206 or reach out via email at  We can do this!

Parents are asking:

What age group do you serve? Camp Summergold's campers are girls 10 - 17 years old.

What safety protocol will you use to prevent the spread of COVID at camp? Camp Summergold will follow the most up to date protocol available from the American Camp Association and the CDC.  Cohorts, social distancing, mask wearing, more outdoor activities, testing, and sanitizing will be the best tools we have to keep our campers and staff safe on the bus to and while at camp.

Is this camp only available the week of June 20-26th? Or are there other dates? Camp Summergold offers only 1 camp session each summer and June 20 - 26 is the session we're offering  in 2021.

What is the pricing? $595 for the week if you provide your own transportation - $695 for the week if you use our chartered bus service from Lincoln or Grand Island to Halsey. Click for more info

Is there a pool, pond, or lake for water fun? At the Halsey campsite we have access to a water slide and river tubing on the South Branch of the Loup River. Click for more info
