What does a typical camp day look like?
Our 2017 theme is Fearless Communication.
Our ARTS and STEM weeks are structured slightly differently but generally mealtimes stay the same. We have a couple of trips planned that will affect our schedule.
- Breakfast is at 8:30 AM.
There is an early morning activity offered each day for those early risers.
Mornings 9 AM - noon are filled with either photography or basket making in the ARTS week or large group science experiments in the STEM week.
- Lunch is at noon.
After lunch until 2 PM is called "personal time". Campers may nap, visit with your new camps friends, hang out with an adult mentor, journal, work on your own projects, or choose an outdoor activity like hiking, fishing or volleyball. Opportunities will change daily.
2 PM - 4:30 PM - Studios. Choices both weeks include acting improvisation, painting, poetry, creative writing, quilting, knitting/crocheting + time to work on your own projects.
4:30 - 5:30 PM - paddle boats, swimming, yoga, fishing, volley ball or catching your breath.
- Dinner is at 5:30 PM - sometimes inside - sometimes outside
After dinner activities include - hiking, singing, games, movies, popcorn, a guest or two, circle time with your bunk mates, snacks, camp fires, llama activities during the ARTS week.
There are water aerobics, splash dance and aqua Zumba classes will be offered and we will find ways to make these classes available to any interested campers.
Wacky Wednesdays - include trips, Jewelry making, dance, paper making, visitors, flower arranging, etc. These options will make our Wednesday a "heads up" kind of day.
